The Stage Arts..

Omg Make Up, Costume and Hair in Stage Arts rocks my hair weave. Today I went for practice again, and I got to do three people's hair. I made curls for all of them using size 3 curling tongs, and when I was finished the styles looked like Jessica Simpson's and Eva Longoria's hair. First time that ever happened. There's a school production coming up, and I'm going to do people's hair for stage! Next week a hair professional is coming to teach us. Dayana (Izzati's cousin) was so cool. She knew I didn't like doing make-up so she said that I could just do hair and costume backstage. And I'll get my own model and I have to take care of the model and do touch-ups and all that. I can't wait!

The Shear Genius..

Omg watching Shear Genius is so educational! I learnt so much about hair from there. I found out that you can have long hair extended within like 2 minutes, and it looks so damn bloody real its scary. And you can like take it out the moment you get home. I'm going to find some of those weave extensions, because I don't want to wait for my hair to grow. Everytime it gets long, it doesn't listen to me and it flips out all over the place. Now I can choose to go short or long anytime I want. Woohoo I'm a go do my research now.

Now I know why celebrities can have long hair in ten minutes. I always thought that they're so damn loaded, that they put in permanent extensions and take them off like nobody's business. I found out that all they need is hair weave and glue or a sewing kit. I'm going to find out where to get it. Its supposedly extremely rare to find in Singapore, but in America they even sell the kit in supermarkets. What the hell!

The Washing Wig..

Omg crap I accidentally put my wig in the washing machine and now its like all tangled and the beautiful curls are all gone and its rough and frizzy and sobs. I'm going to have to shampoo it and condition it and re-do the curls back manually, which is going to take days because the wig is long. And setting curls in synthetic hair is so tedious. One curl takes about 5 minutes to do because u have to wait for the thing to cool so that the shape won't sag. Oh well, I'll get started after I get back from the mosque. I'm off to pray!

The Stomp..

Omg the Pussycat Dolls are way cool! I love them! They have this exclusive Stomp section in their live performances and they're open about profanities. They say words like breasties, booty and all that. Its awesome! The video is on top so watch it if you want to.

I have to start studying for my POM ICA 1 already! Even though I'm so lazy to get my ass up, I'll force myself to do it. I really really hate doing Internet and Web HTML. Its so bloody tedious and confusing.I fell asleep on my laptop after doing it halfway. Screw it!

My hair is back to normal again. No more dry ends for me. The miracles of sebum. Sebum is the oils that come out of the scalp by the way. I got up this morning and I didn't have to comb my hair at all, because my natural oils kept it nice and tame. Yahoo! I love my scalp!

The Separation Anxiety..

Omg I'm sad. I want my old hair back. I know it'll grow, but heck, I went through so much with that hair. I got my first job ever with that hair, got my O-Level results with that hair, and I watched it grow and follow me around everywhere and I entered Poly with that hair. Now its gone. Before, I could feel it scratching against my neck everyday but I tolerated it because I loved it to bits and pieces. I can't believe I layered and cut it. What was I thinking. Next time I want to do something stupid like cut it on impulse, I'm going to read this post again.

The Overreaction..

Omg I overreacted to the whole hair-did thing. I just remembered that immediately after getting my hair done, it will be a little dry and stiff for a few days until the natural oils are able to come out and smooth it. Its been three days. My hair isn't so flat anymore. The smell of the chemicals have worn off and its natural volume is back. I am so relieved and glad and happy. Thank you god!

I miss my long hair more than ever now. I looked at old pics, and it was like shoulder length. Now its like only halfway down my neck. I regret cutting it. I vow, never to cut my hair on impulse again. Argh!

I haven't done any schoolwork for the past week, and I feel like a dumb and lazy babi. I have to like finish my Internet and Web Technology website assignment, which is so confusing and tedious because I have to type out HTML codes from scratch. I have to study for an In-Course Assesment, which is like, next week. And, I have to go and interview a manager for some project. I'll start tomorrow.

My mother moved her spa to town, and the new place is like already equipped with mirrors and all that, so all the stuff in her old place goes into my house. Its some cool crap because now I have like a new mirror in front of my hair desk, and there's like a cellulite-dissolving machine and a bubble foot massager in my living room, and its staying. Woohoo.

The Miss..

Omg I just got my hair done just now at Marina Square again. I had it straightened and I cut off some of the length. I actually wanted to keep the length, but after they flat-ironed it I looked like a freaking Willy Wonka so I asked the stylist to cut it off. Now I'm back to my old length which I had in November last year. Oh well, I'll get the length back within 4 months. I'm not cutting or straightening the back part of my hair for the next two years. I'll let it grow, let it grow, let it grow.

I wonder how some people have the heart to chop off their long locks, especially if its nice and smooth. I chopped mine off and my hair wasn't that long to begin with, and I'm like missing it like crazy. To go from long to short, I feel like a part of me is missing. Now I have to go to my room and comfort myself. Sigh. Note to self. Never cut or layer your hair. Even if you look like Willy Wonka.

The Fix..

Omg I'm so happy! I managed to fix my laptop myself! Yesterday my laptop was acting all crazy and it started lagging during start-up and the audio was like a bitch. Everytime I played something the track will gradually go slow motion and it would be so freaky. So I used this miracle system restore tool under Accesories, and I pretty much restored my Acer Laptop system back to the date when I first got it, so now the audio is working properly and its not lagging anymore. Hooray! I shall pat myself on the back like Dr Boogie.

Shear Genius rocks. Its such a cool show because its about hairstylists competing to get a contract and all that stuff. I downloaded four episodes, and Wilhemina Slater from Ugly Betty is in the fourth episode. I watch it when I'm bored or when I'm not busy doing something to my weave. My first red with black highlights weave is now a bob. I flat-ironed and cut all the length off.

Now I know why I liked Hilary Duff when I was in Sec 2. Her first album was nice because her songs weren't depressing and she sounded cute and fresh. Now she sings about depressing or sexual stuff. I know this because I used her CD to test the audio on my laptop.

The Library..

Omg today is the last day of school! I love using my laptop. I can like type notes into the computer during lectures and its way neater, faster, and less tiring than writing. Today I tried it and for the first time I actually got what the Microeconomics lecturer was teaching. Finally, after so long.

Today I had a three hour break in between classes, so I decided to curl Henna's hair in the library room while Rene, Puva and Shikin watched some ghost story on a laptop. I was like curling hair and the others were like screaming because they saw a hopping mummy in the movie. Henna's weave is so freaking thick there were like about 200 small curls done on her head and they were like those spring goldilock kinds. After a while it sagged and and became hot dogs. Hmm.

Had a picture session using Henna's big-ass pro camera. I took one in the bushes and I looked so happy and serene. I just looked nuts or possesed it the other shots. Oh, and I can download Youtube videos already! I'm am freaking happy!

The Dysfunction..

Omg Savetube is going nuts I can't download my favourite video clips anymore! I'm kind of sad because I like to watch videos in between breaks on my laptop. Apparently the Savetube people changed to Beta and suddenly a thousand people couldn't download anymore. There are like angry people whining in the forums. I can't access Youtube in school either because its a banned website. I'm a go kick someone.

I found this Spice Girls video where they all sang 'Goodbye' live and Melanie C is like horribly anorexic in the video. Her eyes look bloodshot and the area around her eyes are like red like she's a human zombie or something. No, no, no, no. The video is at the top.

The Holiday..

Omg half a week of school left and I'm already set for the holidays. I'm like not listening in class because I'm too busy thinking of wether I should cut my weave when I get it done in one and a half weeks time. What, its important stuff I'm thinking about.

I so don't feel like going for Stage Arts camp this Friday at all. I know it'll be fun and all, but I want to stay at home and sleep or go out and do my own thing during the holidays. I'm not anti-social. I just don't see the point.Well, I'll see if I'm in the mood. Hmm.

Swimming is great! I went to swim again today, with swim caps and all to shield my hair, and when I got out I noticed that my thighs became firmer. Yay it don't jiggle when I walk no more I can ask people to smack it. Hooray!

Okay I gotta go do my POM tutorial. Apparently, I have to type it out in my laptop and send it to the teacher in class tomorrow. Bye.

The Recovery..

Omg my hair and face have been fixed! My face is no longer an oil rig, because I used my mom's skin thingies to condition it back to normal, and my hair's natural oils came back and smoothed everything out. I just read from Yahoo! Answers that you're supposed to spray conditioner in your hair before you go into the water. No wonder the pool is like a chemical pit.

The cheena-poks in my class are like hanging by a thread. They try to like act all cool and socialite in class, but everyone thinks that they're annoying and ignore them. They also try to get noticed in the lecture hall by sitting in the middle where everyone can see them and they purposely cam-whore right there and then, but I can see people shaking their heads at the back. Ha! Backfire bitches!

On Saturday I went for Hair, Costume and Make-Up practice and I so wasn't listening when they were demonstrating make-up. I was like playing with Shikin's hair and twirling it and stuff. Then when they asked me to practice on someone's face, I ended up taking their blowdryer and blew-dry the person's hair straight. Talk about protest. Ha!

The Pool..

Omg I'm never going swimming again! Today I decided to try swimming because it looked like fun to glide in water, but when I bathed after swimming, I realised that my hair became big and dry and my face was like oily. My normal skin is like a little dry, which is why my pimples drop off quick, but now the small pimples have become huge because of the new moisture. My skin is like no longer dry anymore its as though the water from the pool hydrated my face or something. I hate it! I'm going to do intensive repair to get my face and hair back to normal. So much hair dropped when I was trying to detangle my hair after swimming, because the chlorine made it so rough. Next time I feel like I'm getting fat I'm going to run on a treadmill. No more swimming for me unless its in a chlorine free ocean. Hmph.

I'm going to get my hair done in two weeks. The pool ruined my hair. Argh! I gotta go now. Bye.
